One significant initiative was "Gastronomic Promenades Along the Pathways of the Mediterranean Diet," which engaged the public in experiencing local versions of the diet, emphasizing its cultural and holistic aspects. Implemented by the Cyprus Food and Nutrition Museum and Agros Community, this project identified traditional recipes, digitized materials, and organized public activities. It received support from the Ministry of Education & Culture and the Cyprus National Commission for UNESCO. This initiative effectively promoted the Mediterranean Diet, preserved cultural heritage, and engaged the community in its appreciation.
